Lake Mac Council are proud to bring Lake Mac Festival back for another year, with a weekend of family fun planned across the weekend of Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 January 2024.  

On Saturday evening, bring your friends and family and head to the shores of Lake Macquarie as we ‘light up the Lake’ with spectacular fireworks display spanning four locations across the city.  

Pack your picnic, support your local businesses or grab some dinner and drinks from a selection of food vendors based at each of the key viewing sites. Join us in celebrating the beautiful city in which we live as we kick off 2024 with a BANG at Lake Mac Festival 2024! 

Food and Drink vendors will be onsite from 5-9pm at all sites, with the fireworks display at 9pm, don’t miss out! 

Key Viewing Sites

Warners Bay Foreshore 

There will be a range of food and drink vendors on offer, along with live music from 5-9pm and rides for the kids as well!  So, either pack a picnic, support the surrounding cafes and restaurants or grab a bite from the food trucks on site and settle in for what is sure to be a fantastic night of fun for all the family. 

Toronto Foreshore 

Head to the newly revitalised Toronto Foreshore reserve, bring your chairs and rugs and support the variety of local take away and restaurants businesses open for trade.  A selection of food and drink vendors will be onsite as well.  

Belmont – Brooks Parade Reserve 

Head to Brooks Parade Reserve, bring your chairs and rugs and support the variety of local take away and restaurants businesses open for trade as well as Twilight Markets.  A selection of food and drink vendors will be onsite.  Markets and food trucks will run from 3pm-9pm.

Speers Point Park 

A fireworks display will be held in conjunction with the closing ceremony of the Deaf Games being held in the city from 13-20 January (click here for more information) A selection of food and drink vendors will be available.
