OBF: A Taste of Wiseman's Ferry

The much-loved Orange Blossom Festival (OBF) will return to The Hills Shire in September 2024 with a new and exciting food event at Wisemans Ferry.   

A Taste of Wisemans celebrates the best food, wine and produce from local businesses in the rural north of the Shire and along the Hawkesbury River. 

This new event will be a  foodie’s heaven, with local producers, wineries, distilleries, and food vendors offering an outstanding array of choices within the stunning surroundings of Wisemans Ferry Park.

  • Finders Distillery - Locally Made, Internationally Award Winning Gin, Vodka & Liqueurs including Native Red Lime Gin, Bold Blackberry Gin Liqueur & Rye Maple Barrel Aged Gin

  • Burger Head - Burgers and Sides - all ingredients made from scratch

  • The Citrus Factory - Fresh lemonade made to order within a cocktail shaker using 100% juice

  • That’s Amore Italian Woodfire Pizza - Pizza, soft drinks and water (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and halal).

  • Popi's Souvla - Greek street food including Lamb, Chicken and Halloumi Yiros, Soft Drinks, Water

  • Pantry Lane - Homegrown indoor plants & handmade gifts includingp pot plant fabric sacks with homegrown plants, timber and macrame pot plant hangers, handmade greeting cards, fabric eternal roses, macramé coasters, vases, key rings and lanyards, handmade bunting, tote bags, dog bow-ties & accessories

  • Karu Distillery - Craft Spirits (Karu is one of Australia's most awarded distilleries, in 2021 Lightning gin took out the Trophy for best contemporary gin at the International Wines & Spirits Competition)

  • Canoelands Orchard - Pure honey, infused honey, homemade jams, chutneys, sauces, merchandise

  • Ekim Brewing Co - Craft Beers (Brewed in small batches each week, unfiltered & unpasteurised, with the highest quality ingredients & enthusiastic quality control protocols)

  • BC Jerky - Handcrafted, small-batch beef jerky & biltong. BC Jerky is a small, family owned & operated business based in Berowra.

  • Women's Work - A food lover’s bounty of small batch relish, made at home by the mighty Hawksbury river, Women’s Work honours the clever and skilled women gone before us. In using their tried and true recipes we safeguard the stories they hold and ensure their continuing relevance
